Chronic Pain
Working with Jean...
Hi Alice, Thank you! My
right foot is 90 percent normal. The left
about 50, but that was the worst one. I was
exhausted and fell into bed before 7:30. It
seems that whenever I've had had energy work
I get tired. But today I feel so energized.
I can feel the rug again! I can feel the
bumps in the tiles Ernie put in the
bathroom - for the first time!
After unsuccessful foot surgery,
freelance writer Jean Sands wasn't too keen on more, but that was
the only option conventional medicine
offered her. They recommend back surgery,
knee surgery and one for a hernia. Jean was
an interesting case...every time she had a
lot of stress she'd end up in physical pain.
She learned some useful stress release
techniques and ended up being able to drive
herself to the Cape (4 hour drive) after not
being able to leave the house. We worked
together over a few months, here are some of
our emails:
Hi
Alice, My feet are still numb but not so
much. I say thank you to the Universe a
dozen times a day for allowing you to stop
the pain. No burning, no crying in the
night, not having to leap out of bed and
stand because it hurts more when I lie down.
The numbness is 40-50 percent better in my
left foot, the worst one. The right it's
maybe 80 percent better. It's hard to
explain, I'm aware of the numbness that's
still there but I can feel the floor, my
shoes, etc. I'm aware that there is some
discomfort in the toes, but no pain like I
had. And believe me, I was suffering a lot
for 3 1/2 months and I am grateful,
thankful. See you Monday.
I hope you
are having a good weekend. We went out and
did a little shopping today and my feet
didn't make me cry. My knees, well, they
need more work and maybe have to be
replaced. Then you can help them heal up
quick! Jean Dear Alice, Thank you for coming
to my house today. My knees were hurting
badly - that deep ache that makes me feel
nauseous. But you came when I asked and used
your “magic” tuning fork, and within a half
hour my right knee felt better. When I stood
up it seemed like that leg was 6 inches
longer than the left. Then you worked on the
left leg and the same thing happened - it
felt longer, stronger, and nearly pain free.
Before I called you I had wanted to go to
the bank, just the drive through. However, I
was using my walker and cane to get around
the house and the thought of suffering the
pain of going down the stairs to my car gave
me the shivers. But three hours after you
left guess what I did? Yes, I went down the
stairs and drove to the bank. And then I
stopped at my son’s house to drop off his
Father’s Day present. That doesn’t sound
like much but I was up the sidewalk and
steps to his door before I realized that I’d
left my cane in the car! So thank you Alice
for helping me again! You are the miracle
worker in my life. Jean Sands
The toes
on my left foot are definitely much less
numb. It's all gone in the first three toes.
On the right foot just the first two toes
are not numb. BUT I can move my toes, bend
the big one, like I haven't been able to do
in so many years I can't remember when they
moved like this!! I felt a pain across the
base of my toes on my left foot, the one
with the worst damage from botched surgery.
The pain was there for maybe 5 minutes and
when it stopped I felt like something let go
in those ligaments (or whatever) that were
cut and harmed and so tight I couldn't move
my toes. I have been so blessed since my
back gave me that pain in mid Nov. It
brought so many good things and people to
me, including you.
